There are certain things that you cannot truly prepare yourself for until they happen. And we would say that your cat not being able to recognize you when you have wet hair might just be one of them. We suppose the logic is there, some people do look pretty different with wet hair. This also brings up the question, are our pets really paying attention to our facial features or just taking in all of our strong physical characteristics and using those as cues to identify us from afar? Well, come to think of it, there must be a lot more behind it as well. They must know our scent and voice too. But not this little kitten.
This video was posted by @elzrosehr, a sweet content creator who has not one, not two, but 3 fluffy friends under her roof. We are very jealous of this setup, but alas, we will just envy them from afar.
This funny little video has already been viewed over 771.5K times. We can totally see why as well, it’s so sweet. The disbelief on her little furry face is iconic. She has lost all trust and loyalty toward the person in front of her. The people in the comment section were equally taken aback.
Let’s take a look at some of the best ones:
Did u apologise?
It’s so funny that they think they look dangerous doing this 😭😭
I call that the Dracula pose the cats doing hahah
The threatening side hop is my favourite thing my kitten does 🥰
my adult black cat, fully freaked out because my hair was in a bun… he was fine when I took it out😂
black cats are the funniest cats
My cat does this when you put on a bike helmet
“who are you and what did you do with the other human?!?!?”
My cats acted like this when I went from black to blonde lmao. Took a few days for them to like me again
Oh nooo, spicy smol floof 🥰
damn she showing you fr
So apparently this is actually a relatable occurrence. Many people in the comment section heavily related to the experience of being unidentifiable to their little kitten after ever-so-slightly switching up their look. We’re sure this little one will figure it all out soon enough.
