There’s nothing like an all-out brawl with a Karen at the movie theater to make the moviegoing experience all the more memorable. This thread was posted to Reddit’s r/EntitledPeople subreddit by u/NoStateGreenery, who shared an anecdote about an upper-class Karen, her balding boyfriend, and an impulsive choice to dump a water bottle on them to defend his mother.
The Redditor’s mother was trying to avoid the large crowd exiting the theater at the end of the film because she has a bad knee. When she came across Karen and her beau, they wouldn’t let her pass because they wanted to watch the credits. They harassed the original poster’s mom to the point that she was crying, and that’s when her son stepped in to defend her. Did he have to dump the contents of his water bottle on them? No. Is it a satisfying reading experience to hear about that choice and the subsequent fight that followed? Yes! Yes! A thousand times, Yes!
