This woman couldn’t have sounded like the victim in this situation if she tried. And she tried. She genuinely enjoyed every aspect of her meal and even promised to promote the restaurant to her “11 thousand followers” on Instagram. Somehow, she thought that disclosing her follower count would then lead to some sort of discount. When she received the check and saw that she had to pay for no more and no less than what she ordered, Karen blew a fuse. It’s bizarre that we live in a world where people can feel entitled to free things simply because of their popularity on social media. The world should not feel like a glorified version of high school! We must stop this madness.
