In ancient Egypt, all cats were considered royalty. They straight up were mummified when they passed, worshiped as deities, and probably had more rights than anyone living outside the pharaohs quarters. For many, cats still live on this sort of a pedestal and have not witnessed any sort of fall from grace. Cats are the true royalty living during this era. Any king or queen in the human world that states otherwise, is simply afraid of the devotion and the clout that cats pull.
Whether it’s their regal stance, demanding presence, or simply the nonchalance of a cat, they always demand our attention, love, and our offerings. Without us, a cat could certainly live on its own, so it’s real reason for staying in the home full of human beings is truly to be worshipped and loved for all their kingly worth. And like Queen Elizabeth II, every cat is a queen and will live on forever.
