Ah, to carry such a wonderful title: Catnapper. It sounds like absolute bliss! And guess what? This job apparently exists! You get to volunteer to NAP with cats at an animal shelter. Are we alive, still? Did we just go to heaven? So one lucky grandpa has this exact job and let’s just say… Terry Lauerman is GOALS. He walks almost every day to the animal shelter where he naps and plays with the cats there. What a star volunteer!
The animal shelter in question is ‘Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary’ (@safehavengb), which is the first nonprofit shelter in Wisconsin. It rescues cats with all kinds of disabilities and special needs. Terry has a favorite special kitty in need… her name is Hopper. She’s very sensitive to touch, but she loves Terry! He volunteers every single day that the shelter is open, which is really incredible. He hopes to inspire other people on the internet, because according to him ‘Life is too short’. Well said, Terry.
