If you haven’t heard of splooting yet, then it’s time to learn a fun, or depending on how you see it, rather unfortunately named word. According to Cat Time, “Splooting describes one of the silliest things a four-legged friend can do while relaxing. Splooting is when a pet lays out on their belly while having both hind legs splay out behind them instead of being neatly tucked under their torso.” And we have got to tell you, it is absolutely adorable.
Though both dogs and cats and even hamsters can be found splooting on hot days and during times when they feel like stretching out, cats and dogs are not the only splooting masters, oh no. Animals are the sploot connoisseurs. Unsurprisingly, the internet finds pets doing unconventional poses such as splooting incredibly interesting and cute. We would have to agree with the interwebs on this one. The art of the sploot is an art that not any one can master. The fluffier the butt, the more satisfying the sploot. Just have a look for yourselves. These felines are embracing the art of the sploot and we are here for it.
