There’s nothing like a success story about rebelling against authority. In this case, the setting was a Catholic high school, and the authority figure was the senior-year Social Justice teacher (ah, the irony!).
This thread was posted to Reddit’s r/MaliciousCompliance subreddit by u/lalalakee, who reflected on their former years as a high school student and shared this epic tale. For context, this Social Justice teacher was new to the school and was extremely strict. So strict that she locked the doors to the classroom for the daily morning prayer and pledge of allegiance. Even though the bell to the first class hadn’t officially rung, she would consider students to be late if they missed either of those “essential” activities. Sounds like a bit much, don’t you think? Well, the students all thought so, and when a kid was late one day, they all rallied around him instead of following the teacher’s rules.
