This person had a pretty strange experience last time they travelled. As they shared to r/Pettyrevenge, the OP travelled out of town for a few days, and brought along their girlfriend and her pet dog. Since the place did permit pets, the OP thought it would be smooth sailing for the three of them.
But upon meeting the owner of the Airbnb, there was an immediate issue. The host told them about a $25 dollar fee up front for bringing the dog without telling him first. However, he then refused to take the money the OP offered him. The OP’s visit came to an end, and they came home to a nasty email from this “dog loving” host. He clearly didn’t love dogs enough, because he wrote a harsh review of them, even though the OP claims their dog wasn’t destructive or messy. It’s hard to know both sides of the story, but the OP certainly got the outcome they were looking for!
