It can be incredibly frustrating when you repeatedly ask someone to do something, only for it to remain still undone or incorrectly finished… (or so my girlfriend tells me, at least.)
Most of us will also agree that an incorrect or ruined food or drink order can ruin the one thing that was going to be great about your day. Now, most of us will probably be too diffident to do or say anything about our spoiled beverage, instead be resigned to our cup of overheated milk that has just the slightest hint of coffee, sipping it occasionally to reconfirm its unpalatability before it placing it to spend the rest of the day forgotten on the corner of our desk.
While I commiserate with this customer’s experience, it also sounds like maybe this barista is overworked at an understaffed cafe and is just quickly losing grasp of her final shreds of sanity. A little understanding for workers in these situations can go a long way.
Regardless, read on for their post, as it was shared on Reddit’s r/EntitledPeople subreddit, and let us know your own thoughts.
