It’s beautiful how some people can completely ignore reality and make up reasons for why someone owes them… something. Maybe it’s an “influencer” who has somehow decided they can charge a restaurant for the privilege of hosting them or a neighbor who thinks they can just usurp a driveway. Some of the examples of entitlement compiled from Reddit users here are baffling; an aspiring musician proves they have no clue what professional production works costs. Others are transparently lazy attempts to acquire something like a big fancy television for free. We respect the hustle, but you can’t act surprised when people get mad when you offer cheap pay (or no pay at all). Unfortunately, the entitled population most often takes out their wild expectations on people in the service industry who already get enough grief as it is.
For our purposes, though, it’s never a dull moment when the entitled people of the world decide they want something — just hope your business doesn’t cross paths with an influencer out to lunch anytime soon.
