This celebration was created to commemorate the day that Meowlandia’s Royal family declared all the pawdorable kitty beans in their nation as national treasures, essentially giving all catizens the same rights as any nobles anywhere.
This major change changed the political landscape of Meowlandia and its neighboring nations furever, ushering in an age of goodwill and equality amongst the catizens and nourishing the seed of equality in other nations. This would eventually lead to equal rights for non-noble citizens in other nations, which is why many foreign nations celebrate today as well.
