Employees should always be allowed to stand up for themselves. In many workplaces, employees are expected to let customers do whatever they want. “The customer is always right,” is the motto. But as you know if you’ve worked in retail lately, customers aren’t always right—instead, certain customers are riled up and ready to take their frustrations out on the next employee they see.
This woman took her anger way too far in this video recorded by @davenewworld_2. While the video leaves out a lot of context, we can see a customer screaming at an employee, who is videoing the interaction. It’s a good thing the employee is recording, because the things this woman says are totally unbelievable. Why did she think it was a good idea to threaten this employee with serial killers?!
You can see the look on the customer’s face as the worker starts to yell “Get out!” repeatedly—the customer realizes she’s gone too far with this stunt. She’s legitimately threatened the store’s manager, and she’s not going to be served. Some people just choose to ruin their own days, and this cranky customer chose screaming and chaos over a simple retail interaction. Check out the entire video below.
