Living with roommates is always hit or miss. It’s not easy to find people you can live in harmony with. Everybody had their own way of life and even if you love that person out in the real world, when it comes to your living space, they might completely clash with you. It’s normal, so don’t feel bad if you have had roommate issues. Once you find that perfect roommate combination though, it truly is glorious—feels like you’re living in your own uplifting sitcom.
However, this Redditor was not in that ideal situation of having good roommates. She was, unfortunately, stuck living with a few entitled rich dudes who treated her hard-earned things with zero respect. She was the only one in the house who had a job, and she worked often. She brought her own TV into the house and was fine sharing it with the housemates. Unfortunately, the boys’ entitlement started to shine through and they started treating the TV like it was their’s and would team up against her when she wanted to use it. Finally, one squabble had her maliciously complying. She have them a heads up earlier in the day that she wanted to watch something at a certain time. Yet, when that time came the boys had taken it over and they told her to just go watch TV in her bed room (using her laptop, but they did not specify that). So she graciously said “okay,” and proceeded to unplug their dumb video game console in the middle of their game, and take the TV back into her room. They were not happy, but she was just doing what they asked. (LOL)
